Applus+ Energy & Industry receives European Commission EMAS Bronze recognition within the 20th anniversary of the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), the European Commission decided to award the Bronze recognition to organizations with more than five years of continuous EMAS registration.

The requirements for the implementation and verification of EMAS recognition involve: Having an Environmental Management System implemented, EMAS recognizes ISO14001 implementation; Developing an environmental statement on an annual basis; receiving the validation of the environmental statement by an accredited environmental verifier; Applus+ Energy & Industry is audited in its Sada office every year as from 2009; Meeting other Regulation (EC) No. 1221/2009 requirements.
